Stage → three ambers → green.
Press W on green or release the transbrake.
W / ↑ applies this target. Lower it for repeatable partial-throttle launches.
Hold C to disengage; release gradually to engage.
Default: press W on green; pressing it early is a red light. Hold C to disengage the manual clutch; release it to engage gradually. In transbrake-release mode, hold Space for the brake and launch RPM; keep W held for throttle. Releasing Space after green launches in one motion. Releasing early is a red light. Shift hint begins at 5,500 rpm. Hold C until the clutch meter is nearly full, then shift with Shift / X. Shifts without the clutch are rejected. Aim for the bright green perfect-shift band at 6,400–6,600 rpm; 6,200–6,800 rpm is still a good shift. Over-rev upshifts are allowed but rougher. Peak torque: 300 Nm at 4,300 rpm. Shift timing changes torque transfer and rear-tire upset without stopping forward power. Hold W to roll into the throttle; release it to lift. Throttle builds and falls at a fixed rate through a smooth, progressive response map. Rear-tire slip ratio compares wheel-surface and road speed, with low-speed regularization to avoid division by zero. High launch RPM can overwhelm grip. Distance displays in metres.

ESTIMATED PERFORMANCE
Power-to-weight
Simulated ET uses current horsepower, mass, grip, clutch, and gearing with a full-throttle W launch and clutch-assisted automatic shifts. It excludes reaction time; this prototype projection is not a guaranteed player result.
Reference presets use published stock gear ratios/final drives and tire-code static-radius estimates. Mass includes a driver estimate for the BRZ. Engine curves, limiter behavior, and power delivery remain simplified.
Auto sizing keeps the prototype's baseline clutch-to-power ratio (3.30 Nm per HP). It's a gameplay guide, not a real parts rating. Move this slider to switch to manual sizing.
MPH runs left to right; RPM runs bottom to top. Each gear has its own rising line from 0 RPM to redline. Drag a 7,000-RPM endpoint left or right to tune that ratio. Numeric inputs below also work by keyboard.
Ground speed is chassis speed. Driven-wheel speed is wheel rotation converted using tire radius. The diagonal marks equal speeds; divergence shows slip.
Tune power, mass, clutch, grip, tire radius, final drive, gear count, and gear ratios in the pits or during a run; changes apply immediately to your car. Gear count cannot be reduced below the gear you are using. The clutch can auto-scale with horsepower or be set manually. Grip scales the modeled tire force from 0.1× to 2× the dry baseline. The ET figures use the calculator's empirical cube-root formulas, not the live tire simulation. They are not validated performance predictions; parts and weather effects are not modelled yet. Choose 1–10 forward gears and tune each active ratio from 0.30 to 5.00. Live ratio changes immediately alter the driveline load, so make small adjustments while driving. Use progressively lower ratios in higher gears to make RPM drop on upshifts. Higher numeric ratios multiply engine torque more; lower ratios provide taller gearing.
